This year's event is scheduled to take place on May 31 and June 1 at Yoyogi Park, Tokyo.
The Ambassador said that with 17 times held, this special activity has become a brand of cultural exchange, which is expected by many Japanese friends and the Vietnamese community in Japan every year.
As the element of people-to-people cultural exchange is an indispensable pillar of the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership for Peace and Prosperity in Asia and the world between the two countries, this year's festival will further introduce the unique beauty and rich identity of Vietnamese culture to Japanese friends – from folk art performances such as unique water puppet art, ao dai performance and traditional dishes. All are rich in the flavor of the homeland, spreading the image of gentle, friendly and creative Vietnamese people.
Many young artists, representing a new generation of artists – talented, creative and close to young people, with modern music performances will participate. Their contribution will not only bring the spirit of one Vietnam in the new era but also contribute to creating a strong connection and liveliness between the people of the two countries.
