Vietnam to Hold Two Int'l Kid Fashion Events

Vietnam International Junior Model contest is set to be the first version of Vietnamese reality TV show with an exclusive format for children who are passionate about fashion. This is a professional playground according to international standards to help talented young models have the opportunity to express their passion, experience and assert themselves in the field of fashion.
The programme will be broadcast in Vietnam, as well as four other countries including Thailand, Philippines, Malaysia, and the Republic of Korea.
With the slogan "Incubating talents - Creating the future," the contest will look for faces with all the elements to devote to the children's fashion industry in Vietnam and the world.
The representative of the organising committee said that the children will not only hone their modeling skills but also awaken their artistic personality through many fashion challenges and meaningful social activities with the community.
The contestants will be divided into 3 groups included 1-3 years old, 4-12 years old and 13-19 years old to show their talents. The contest is expected to attract around 6,000 Vietnamese children living both in Vietnam and abroad.
The show will consist of 15 episodes. Before that, online exams will be conducted from now until the end of June 10, then enroll directly in Hanoi on June 18, to select 90 candidates to enter the shared house.
The first show is scheduled to take place in July. After 10 episodes, the best nine contestants in each group will be selected to progress to the final round.
Pawee Ventura, CEO of Missosology, Erina Hanawa, Miss Tourism World 2022, Angelia Ong, Miss Earth 2015, Gunzaya Victoria, Miss Universe Mongolia 2019, and Michael Pelletier, Mister Grand International 2022, will serve as members of the judging panel at the event.

Meanwhile, season 3 of Vietnam International Junior Fashion Week will return to Hanoi on August 5 – 6 following the 2028 and 2019 seasons.
With the theme of fashion and cultural promotion, the fashion week promises to be a colorful and vibrant picture with the participation of many major fashion brands in the world and talented designers of Vietnam. The event celebrates unlimited creativity, and sparks new inspiration in the drawings, cutting, and tailoring of traditional fashion. The week not only updates trends but also gives the international public a new look at Vietnamese children's fashion.
According to designer Le Tran Dac Ngoc, the organizer of the event, the function will consist of many social activities aimed at protecting children's rights, upholding the role of education, assisting disadvantaged children, and helping young people to discover a traditional ethnic culture. As planned, these events will take place on August 5 and 6 in Hanoi.
