The Vietnamese Embassy in Mozambique reports that following appeals from General Secretary and President To Lam and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Bui Thanh Son, the Vietnamese community in Mozambique has been contributing donations to help fellow citizens in Vietnam recover from the devastation of the recent typhoon Yagi.
Speaking at the donation reception, the Vietnamese Ambassador to Mozambique Pham Hoang Kim thanked the sentiments of the Vietnamese community in Mozambique, who, although living in a faraway country, always turn their hearts towards the Fatherland.
Ambassador Pham Hoang Kim expresses his hope that the community will persist in supporting the initiatives of the Vietnamese Embassy in Mozambique. He encourages the promotion of the spirit of mutual support and the cherished traditions of the nation, and advocates for strengthening the bilateral ties between Vietnam and Mozambique in the future.
