This contemporary dance performance of the Vietnamese international student group immediately attracted the attention of people at Times Square. Both tourists and locals were amazed because of the grace and flexibility of the Vietnamese dancers, their beautiful Ao Dai, and iconic leaf hats.

"Through this performance, I understand more about Vietnamese people and culture. We couldn't take their eyes off when watching this performance. It's fascinating!" said Prabhash, an Indian tourist.

Meanwhile, there is an international student from Vietnam who came to Times Square with her family.

Thach Trang (student in Germany) shared that she happened to meet Vietnamese friends who were performing Ao Dai at Times Square and was very impressed by everyone's performance and the seeing the Ao Dai's beauty in the United States.

"Very surprised, I feel very happy and proud to be a Vietnamese," said Trang.

Also, the performers registered to show Vietnamese images at this busiest intersection in the world via a 15-second video about the spirit of solidarity and mutual affection of the Vietnamese people during Typhoon Yagi appeared once an hour and continuously for 24 hours on October 18 on a billboard at Times Square. With this activity, Vietnamese young people in the US not only want to promote the beauty of the country and people but also hope to spread the Vietnamese spirit to international friends.
