Vietnamese embassy in China raises fund for victims of flood in homeland
(VNF) – The Vietnamese Embassy in China on November 24 launched a fundraising program to support people affected by Damrey storm in homeland.

All officers and staff of the Embassy, Vietnamese representing agencies, representatives of Vietnamese community in China joined the event.
Speaking at the fundraising, Vietnamese Ambassador to China Dang Minh Khoi said in 2017 Vietnamese people had suffered from mass damages caused by huge storms and floods. He lauded the strong will of people in the central region of Vietnam in overcoming the difficulties brought about by natural disaster, which had contributed to the success of the APEC summit held in Da Nang city.

The ambassador also took the occasion to call on more participation from the Vietnamese community in China in assisting people in affected areas in disaster relief and livelihood restoration.
The fundraising is held in response to the call from the Vietnam Fatherland Front's Central Committee.
This has been the forth time the Vietnamese Embassy in China has organized fundraising activity to support people affected by disasters in homeland since the beginning of 2017./.
