The Standing Committee of the Youth Union and the Vietnam Youth Union of the Mekong Delta province of Dong Thap on February 7 jointly organized a meeting and exchange program between Lao and Cambodian students and the Dong Thap Student Liaison Committee and local students on the occasion of the Spring of 2025.

The program was attended by nearly 80 Lao and Cambodian students studying in Dong Thap; representatives of Liaison Committees and Student Liaison Committees at universities in and outside Dong Thap; and local outstanding students.

Within the framework of the program, the forum themed "Solutions to improve the effectiveness of activities for Lao and Cambodian students and Liaison Committees and Student Liaison Committees of Dong Thap province" took place where participants improve the quality and effectiveness of the Liaison Committees, Student Liaison Committees and activities and movements of Lao and Cambodian international students in the new situation.

In 2024, Lao and Cambodian international students in Dong Thap participated in many meaningful activities such as exchanging typical cuisines of the three countries, Vietnam - Laos - Cambodia; gathering to celebrate the traditional New Year of Laos and Cambodia. In addition, the Student Liaison Committees and the chapters also hosted numerous cultural and artistic activities, attracting more than 4,500 members, and contributing to creating an environment for students to exchange and learn.

On this occasion, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union honored 14 excellent students in both academic performance and training for the 2023-2024 school year. At the same time, three groups and 11 individuals with outstanding achievements in the work of the Youth Union, association, and student movement in 2024 were also awarded.

The program's organizing committee presented the delegates with meaningful gifts, including books and lucky money, to mark the beginning of spring.
