It is the first time that the Fukuoka Government has joined hands with the AVF to organize an event. The President of the AVF Nguyen Duy Anh |
The President of the AVF Nguyen Duy Anh shared: “The annual Vietnam Tet Festival in Fukuoka organized by the AVF is one of the largest events of the Vietnamese community in Japan. For Vietnamese people, the traditional Tet holiday is sacred, and also one of the most important events of the year. When Tet comes, no matter where we are or what we are doing, all of us will think of our homeland, especially in the context of travel restriction due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Therefore, it motivates us to organize a warm, cozy Tet for our community.
With the support of the Consulate General of Viet Nam in Fukuoka and the government of Fukuoka Government and the Vietnamese - Japanese business community, the AVF hopes to bring the event to the next level as the festival will be an opportunity to exchange culture and promote the images of the Vietnamese community to Japanese friends”.
