Vietnamese Space in France's Asian Fair Attracts Int'l Friends
For the first time as an honored guest attending the 2023 Asian Fair (Salon d’Asie) taking place from December 2 to 3 in the city of Lyon in the central part of the French Republic, Vietnam's cultural-tourism-cuisine space has received the attention of local people and international tourists.
Salon d’Asie (Asiexpo Events) is an annual event held in the Auvergne-Rhone-Alpes region to promote the culture and cuisine of Asian countries to the French and international public.
The fair featured hundreds of booths by Asian nations and attracted about 62,000 visitors.

This year's Vietnam Space has the participation of 11 partners operating in many fields such as cuisine, tourism, culture, and martial arts. Distinctive products from paintings promoting the patriotic emulation movement, traditional dishes, and unique musical performances imbued with traditional Vietnamese folklore have received the great attention of many tourists.
At the event, visitors also enjoyed a fashion show of Ao dai and typical Vietnamese national costumes.
"The exciting and practical activities of Vietnam Space have attracted the attention of many French and international visitors to learn and explore Vietnamese culture," Jean-Pierre Gimenez, Director of the Center Asiaxpo Events and Exhibition, Head of the organizing committee of the 2023 Asian Fair said.
Tang Thanh Son, Deputy Director of the Vietnamese Cultural Center in France, said that Vietnam needs to maintain a presence at the Asian Fair in the coming years to promote the image of Vietnam as friendly and hospitable to many people. international friends.
