On March 9, the Vietnamese Cultural Day was held in AISL Harrow School (Nanning, China). At the opening ceremony, Consul General Do Nam Trung representing the Consulate General of Vietnam in Nanning attended and participated in many activities.

This special Vietnam Culture Day in Nanning brought many meaningful activities to Vietnamese students in the province.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Consul General Do Nam Trung highly appreciated the development of Vietnam-China friendship, saying that Vietnam and China are neighbors of friendship with long and deep-rooted history.

"President Ho Chi Minh and Chairman Mao Zedong as well as senior leaders and people of the two countries have forged a warm friendship as comrades and brothers," said Do Nam Trung.

The continued consolidation and development of the Vietnam-China friendship is not only beneficial for the two countries, but also positively contributes to peace, stability, development and prosperity of the region and the world.

He reaffirmed the people-to-people and cultural exchanges, especially the enhancement of the young generation's participation, which supports the friendship between the two countries and plays a very important role in creating solid public opinion to promote the comprehensive strategic cooperation partnership between Vietnam and China.

The Consul General stressed that Vietnam has a long-standing culture and rich in identity, with the most core values ​​being patriotism, national spirit, compassion, community and sophistication:

"Vietnam share many important values ​​and human views with Chinese culture such as the tradition of respecting the elderly, loving the young, respecting the master, and being family-oriented; We believe that international tourists in general and Chinese tourists in particular will have unique experiences about the country, people, landscapes and Vietnamese cuisine when they have the opportunity to visit."

Diplomacy between countries rises from the friendship between people, and people-to-people exchanges rise from connecting hearts with hearts. The Consul General hopes that each citizen, especially the younger generation will be an effective bridge for the friendship between the two countries.

Speaking at the event, Rector Cao Nguyet and General Manager Neil Clayton expressed their thanks and appreciation to the Consulate General and Vietnamese representatives for actively coordinating and attending; I believe this activity will help Guangxi people, especially the young generation, better understand the country and people of Vietnam and the Vietnam-China friendship, actively contributing to promoting people-to-people and cultural exchanges. in the overall traditional friendship between the two countries and the peoples of the two countries.

Currently, Vietnam has 20 Vietnamese Student Associations in China including: Guangxi, Yunnan, Guangdong, Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, Chongqing, Hunan, Hubei, Fujian, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Guizhou, Sichuan, Shanxi, Jilin, Liaoning, Heilongjiang, Anhui and Shaanxi.

The number of Vietnamese student associations ranges from a few dozen members to several hundred ones, of which the largest ones are in Nanning (678 students), Guilin (627 students), and Beijing (447 students).

In general, Vietnamese students of Chinese universities have good moral qualities and a healthy lifestyle. They are able to promote their abilities and strengths in learning and scientific research; actively participate in cultural, social and sports movements organized by the host country, enthusiastically contribute to people-to-people diplomacy activities and friendly exchanges between the two countries.
