The program's highlight was the Dialogue and Exchange between young officers of the two agencies under the theme 'Loyal Comradeship.'

During the dialogue, participants engaged in open discussions about coordinating efforts to manage and protect borders and border gates, disseminating legal knowledge, responding to natural disasters and epidemics, and sharing expertise in applying information technology and streamlining administrative procedures.

According to VNA, Captain Pham Quang Hieu from the Border Guard Station at the Huu Nghi International Border Gate proposed enhancing the coordination mechanism for building a smart border gate model and improving the exchange of information related to entry, exit, and imports. Meanwhile, Major Phung Ly Huynh from the Bac Xa Border Guard Station (Lang Son) suggested promoting training courses, experience exchanges, and professional collaboration between border management forces on both sides.

Vuong Hien Phong, from the Political Department of the General Station of Guangxi Border Control, underscored the importance of educating the younger generation on the history and significance of the Vietnam-China relationship, viewing it as a cornerstone for strengthening bilateral friendship.

According to Colonel Luong Manh Vong, Deputy Political Commissar of the Lang Son Border Guard, young officers and cadres from both sides have consistently taken the lead in border patrol coordination, incident management, delegation exchanges, professional support, and disseminating laws to border communities.

The two sides actively sustain initiatives such as 'Friendship Messenger,' 'Twinning Station-to-Station,' and 'Twinning Residential Cluster,' fostering cultural and sports exchanges, holiday and Tet celebrations, and contributing to the development of a peaceful, stable, cooperative, and sustainable border region.

Since 2013, nine pairs of villages and two pairs of communes and towns along the border have been twinned, establishing a strong foundation for people-to-people exchanges and fostering solidarity and friendship.

To encourage the pioneering and innovative spirit of youth, Colonel Luong Manh Vong proposed enhancing collaboration between officers and young cadres from both sides in border management and protection, crime prevention, and promoting the tradition of "comrades and brothers." He also emphasized the importance of the 16-word motto: 'Friendly neighbors, comprehensive cooperation, long-term stability, towards the future.'

Both sides have intensified efforts to educate border residents on adhering strictly to the provisions of the three legal documents on the Vietnam-China land border, along with regulations governing border operations and border gates. Residents are actively encouraged to join movements for crime reporting, border protection, and safeguarding the national border marker system, border infrastructure, and border gates. Additionally, there is ongoing advocacy for governments to expand twinning models, further strengthening the friendship between the people of the two nations.
