	Da Lat Students Gain Knowledge about Korean Culture From International Volunteers

The Da Nang City Union of Friendship Organizations (DAFO) recently held a meeting with 20 international volunteers from Singapore, Malaysia, Australia, the Philippines and AI staff.

A the meeting, DAFO Vice President Pham Huu Hoa encouraged the volunteers to not only participate in social activities, volunteers would have interesting experiences in Da Nang City but also be ambassadors promoting the image, country, people of Vietnam in general and Da Nang City in particular to friends from their countries and around world.

Through the program, volunteers could introduce Da Nang City to charitable organizations and philanthropists who support people with disadvantages and difficult circumstances. Hoa requested that, while doing social work here, the volunteers strictly comply with the regulations and laws of Vietnam.

DAFO leaders also introduced new highlights and breakthroughs in the mechanisms and policies for the development of Da Nang City, especially Resolution No. 136/2024/QH15 dated June 26, 2024 of the National Assembly on the organization of urban government and piloting a number of specific mechanisms and policies for the development of Da Nang City, including the establishment of the Da Nang Free Trade Zone.

Pham Huu Hoa hoped that through the volunteers, this new mechanism will reach international friends and investors who are interested in business opportunities in Da Nang. The city will provide them with many outstanding, convenient and effective incentives.

In response, Director of AI in Vietnam Dang Van Quoc Viet thanked DAFO for introducing the city's interesting changes, and for paying attention, closely coordinating, and creating conditions for AI to operate effectively over the years. He reaffirmed that the foreign volunteers strictly followed the city's regulations.
