Da Nang International Terminal (Terminal T2) is ranked Gold - the highest of the three grades - Silk, Jade, and Gold. Around the world, four other airports were certified "Welcome Chinese" including Paris International Airport (ADP) in France and King Khalid International Airport in Saudi Arabia.
Established in 2008, China Tourism Academy is a research organization, headquartered in Beijing, under the China National Tourism Administration. |
To achieve this certification, Da Nang International Terminal meets the standards of displaying Chinese language on signs, flight display screens, restaurant menus, maps, and websites. The high-quality services include free hot water and Chinese-speaking staff.
Stores at the terminal provide payment services via UnionPay, WeChat Pay (commonly used in China). There are also tax refund counters to serve Chinese tourists' shopping demand.
Earlier this year, Da Nang International Terminal also achieved recognition from international organizations for becoming the first terminal in Vietnam to achieve 4-star Skytrax certification.
