Dong Nai Province Hosts Festival of Friendship Melodies

The Dong Nai province's Union of Friendship Organizations in collaboration with the Provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Dong Nai Radio and Television Station, and Dong Nai Newspaper on October 22 organized the third Dong Nai Province Friendship Melodies Festival 2022.
The festival is an annual art and culture exchange activity for amateur artists who are members of Friendship Associations members of the Provincial Union of Friendship Organizations, to honor and spread the values of art and culture, peace and friendship, in order to introduce to international friends about Vietnamese culture, country, and people, as well as promote other countries' cultures to people.
At the same time, creating a common playground for associations enhances cultural diplomacy activities, contributes to enhancing understanding, and consolidates the solidarity and friendship between the Vietnamese people, the people of Dong Nai, and international friends.

Representatives of departments, branches, and members of 10 member friendship associations of the Provincial Union of Friendship Organizations attended the event.
In the program, members of friendship associations, including bilateral friendship associations of Thailand, France, Japan, Laos, Cambodia, the US, China, Russia, the Republic of Korea, and Vietnam - ASEAN Friendship Association performed 30 musical repertoires of Vietnam and other countries in singing, dancing and playing musical instruments.
Outstanding performances will be selected to perform at the Southeast Friendship Melody Festival which will take place in November 11 and 12.
Provincial friendship associations of Dong Nai have become a bridge fostering friendships with individuals from those countries and encouraging the involvement of citizens and organizations from all walks of life in external activities via people-to-people exchanges, contributing to local socio-economic development.
