England is one game away from the Euro 2020 final so it’s fair to say there’s a good chance it might actually be coming home. All that stands in the way of the Three Lions and a place in Sunday’s showpiece is talented and organized Denmark team.
The Danes were considered dark horses by many before a ball had been kicked and have won plenty of admirers for their response after Christian Eriksen suffered a cardiac arrest in their opener against Finland.
Date, kick-off time, and venue
The match is set for Wednesday at 3 p.m. ET (2:00 am Thursday Indochina Time) at Wembley Stadium in London, England.
If the scores are level after 90 minutes then the tie will go to 30 minutes of extra time and penalties if required.

Team news
England squad
England reverts back to a four-man defense for the win over Ukraine and you would expect Gareth Southgate to stick with the same. Jadon Sancho was given the first start and impressed, so will hope to keep his place. Bukayo Saka and Jack Grealish are pushing for a start, however.
England's predicted lineup (3-4-3): Pickford; Walker, Stones, Maguire; Trippier, Rice, Phillips, Shaw; Mount, Sterling; Kane.
Denmark squad
Denmark was again unchanged as they beat the Czech Republic and could do the same in the coming match, according to Evenening Standard. Captain Simon Kjaer shock off a fitness doubt to start, while Yussuf Poulsen was fit but only made the bench as Kasper Dolberg started.
Denmark's predicted lineup(3-4-3): Schmeichel; Christensen, Kjaer, Vestergaard; Stryger Larsen, Hojbjerg, Delaney, Maehle; Braithwaite, Dolberg, Damsgaard

Prediction
Former England international Phil Thompson has picked out his best bets and is backing the Three Lions to roar their way into the final. “All round, this England team looks strong. There is something special about Denmark but England has that great core and they should come through this one. I fancy England to Win to Nil. I’m going for 2-0 with Harry Kane to Score First,” Thommo told Paddy Power News.
“He’s worth backing to score after he fired home a couple against Ukraine. England hasn’t had a penalty yet either and they are probably due one. You can be assured in knowing that if they get one, Kane is stepping up!”
Being at home has a huge advantage, and Hungary proved it early on in the tournament. Managing draws against Germany and France, it played above its typical standard in front of a home crowd. Now to finish the tournament, England will be at home, and I’m not betting against it. Winger Raheem Sterling and F Harry Kane looked terrific against Ukraine with Kane scoring in the 4th and 50th minutes.
While Denmark has been able to break through and score at a great pace, England has yet to give up a goal and scored six in the last two games, said Sportsbook Wire.
Sportsbook Wire's prediction: England 3, Denmark 1

Betting tips & odds
Tip 1: England to Win
England is in excellent form at Euro 2020 and has added extra goals onto the back of their solid defense. The hosts have won five of their last six matches in all competitions, keeping clean sheets in all six matches. Denmark started the Euros with back-to-back defeats against Finland and Belgium and many are surprised to see the Danes at this latter stage of the competition.
Tip 2: Under 2.5 Goals
The recent history between these two nations points towards this semi0final being tight and tense throughout the 90-minutes. Under 2.5 goals have been produced in each of the last three meetings between the pair, with each team claiming a 1-0 win and a single 0-0 draw. Five of England's last six fixtures have also witnessed fewer than three goals being scored, with the exception being that 4-0 domination of Ukraine in the quarter-finals.
Tip 3: 1-0 England
While both England and Denmark have produced big wins at Euro 2020, we're expecting the semi-final at Wembley to be a very close and competitive fixture with very few goals on show. England are the favorites and haven't conceded a single goal at Euro 2020 so far, so a 1-0 win could well be on the cards. England has won three of their last six matches by a single goal to nil and Denmark have conceded at least one goal in four of their five games at the tournament, all of which adds weight to our 1-0 final scoreline prediction.
