Exhibition on Panama opens in Hanoi

On October 26th, the Embassy of the Republic of Panama in Vietnam in cooperation with the Vietnam's Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the National Library of Vietnam opened an exhibition titled “Enjoying Panama”.

On October 26th, the Embassy of the Republic of Panama in Vietnam in cooperation with the Vietnam's Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the National Library of Vietnam opened an exhibition titled “Enjoying Panama”.

The exhibition is a part of activities to celebrate the 40th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Panama and Panama’s National Day.

The event creates a chance for Vietnamese friends to see and admire the beauty of the landscapes, history, culture, folklore and traditions of Panama.

The exhibition is underway at the National Library of Vietnam in order to promote cultural exchange and strengthen the bonds of goodwill, friendship and good cooperation between the two nations.

Addressing the opening ceremony, Director of the National Library of Vietnam, KieuThuyNga stressed that since the two countries’ diplomatic relations were established, Vietnam and Panamahave fostered their collaboration across economics, trade, investment, tourism and science-technology.

Ambassador ServioSammodio of the Republic of Panama expressed his delight to introduce Panama to the Vietnamese people, hoping that the exhibition showcasing 80 photos would help visitors understand more on Panama’s people, culture and relic sites.

The exhibition is scheduled to run until October 30th./.
