Zum Coffee is located on the first floor of a collective living quarter, in a small alley of Vu Ngoc Phan street, Dong Da District, Hanoi. The facade of it is like many others with a small yard planting green trees. The architecture of this shop is almost unchanged based on the old house. It is only decorated some areas to serve customers.

From the entrance, to the left is the barista covered with old wooden shutters. The common sound of the space is nostalgia and old objects and images recalling the subsidy period.

Inside the apartments have cleared the rooms, creating a space throughout from outside. The walls are painted with yellow color, creating patchy ceiling tiles to create an old look.

Besides, many decorations reminiscent of memories such as peacock blanket covers, black and white TV, radio, thermos, desk fans. Small peach branches and chung cake, the pair of couplets evokes the traditional Tet atmosphere.The space is lit by yellow lights. Besides, there are dishes with unique names such as Thi No porridge, Mrs. Dau rice, Ba Kien rice ... Coffee prices vary from 25,000 VND ($1.07) per cup. It opens daily from 7:00 to 22:30.
