Inauguration Of The First Wall Of Fame In Vietnam
On the evening of September 9, in Nha Trang, the Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee cooperated with the Vietnam Cinema Association to organize the 2023 Kite Awards Ceremony. This is the 20th time the Kite Awards have been held.
In particular, on this occasion, the "Wall of Fame", the first project in Vietnam to recognize and honor outstanding individuals and groups who have contributed to the 7th art discipline, was inaugurated at the Do Theatre.

The wall of Fame has 433 stars, representing 107 typical works, 297 outstanding individuals who are authors, artists, filmmakers, and 29 veteran cinematographers of Vietnamese cinema. These include famous directors such as Pham Van Khoa, Mai Loc, Khuong Me, Nguyen Hong Sen, and others.
Dinh Van Thieu, Vice Chairman of the Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, said that the Wall of Fame will be the first cultural project in Vietnam to recognize and honor the outstanding contributions of artists, actors, and actresses.
"Nha Trang, Do Theater, Wall of Fame is expected to become a memorable tourist destination for domestic and foreign tourists. This is also expected to be a gathering place for artists, actors, and filmmakers" - Thieu said.

Do Lenh Hung Tu, Chairman of the Vietnam Cinema Association, commented that this is the first wall, possibly the only one in the gentle and hospitable city of Nha Trang, which will later become a film city.
On this occasion, the Vietnam Records Organization also awarded a record-setting certificate to the Wall of Fame.
According to the organizers, Kite 2023 has more than 140 films participating in the competition with the theme "Brilliant Galaxy". The awards ceremony gathered nearly 1,000 delegates, filmmakers, artists, and actors.
In addition to the awards ceremony, Kite 2023 also has activities: "Cinema Road" showing competing films at 18 mobile locations in Nha Trang City; saluting the "Brilliant Dawn" flag at 2-4 Square, Nha Trang City; Cycling because Nha Trang is green, clean and beautiful.
