The conference was held offline and virtually with the participation of many senior diplomats, representatives of departments, ministries, branches, localities, Heads of Vietnamese representative agencies abroad, scholars, researchers, corporations, businesses, press agencies, and representatives of units in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

This is an important and practical activity to evaluate the results of propaganda and honoring activities for President Ho Chi Minh in the past 3 years, set out directions and tasks in the coming time, and contribute to implementing Conclusion 01 of the Politburo regarding continuing to implement Directive No. 05-CT/TW on promoting learning and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style.

Speaking at the opening of the conference, Deputy Foreign Minister and Chairman of the Vietnam National Committee for UNESCO Ha Kim Ngoc emphasized that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has inherited important achievements of activities honoring Uncle Ho abroad for more than 10 years. Through a network of nearly 100 Vietnamese representative agencies abroad, many activities have been carried out practically and effectively to honor Uncle Ho.

Deputy Minister Ha Kim Ngoc affirmed that the positive results in the past three years have contributed to widely promoting to international friends the great stature, thoughts, and contributions of President Ho Chi Minh to Vietnam and the world, thereby helping the overseas Vietnamese community to consolidate and promote national pride, towards their homeland and country.

At the conference, delegates discussed and gave an objective evaluation of the activities to continue strengthening propaganda, introducing, and honoring President Ho Chi Minh to the international community over the past time and future orientation.

Delegates proposed several methods to strongly innovate the content, methods, and forms of propaganda about Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style, especially for the younger generation and the overseas Vietnamese community, making his thoughts, ethics, and style truly become a solid spiritual foundation of social life, fostering the will to be self-reliant, national self-strength, and the aspiration to develop a prosperous and happy country, as in the spirit of Conclusion 01 and Directive 05.

According to Professor, Dr. Hoang Chi Bao, the great influence of President Ho Chi Minh and his ideology of peace made him a global ambassador, and a symbol of a culture of tolerance. UNESCO issued a Resolution honoring President Ho Chi Minh as the "Hero of national liberation and outstanding cultural figure of Vietnam".

His humanistic ideology contains many values ​​of class, nationality, and era towards human liberation, for human happiness.

In the coming time, Professor Hoang Chi Bao hopes that relevant agencies will continue to research and propose to make the Declaration of Independence a national treasure, focusing on research on President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology on peace, human and religion, about the art of giving press interviews..., thereby highlighting the universal humanistic values ​​of the President.

Concluding the Conference, Deputy Minister Ha Kim Ngoc said that in the upcoming period, the changing situation of the world and the region will bring both opportunities and challenges to Vietnam.

Therefore, ministries, departments, branches, and localities should continue to actively propagate, introduce, and honor the wisdom, qualities, character, and ideals of President Ho Chi Minh, by spreading Uncle Ho's cultural values ​​abroad to develop and deepen multifaceted relations between Vietnam and other countries, enhancing position and prestige of our country, promoting patriotism and national pride, connecting the overseas Vietnamese community to the homeland.
