Do Trong Hung appreciated the cooperation relationship between Thanh Hoa province and Italy over the years. Thanh Hoa is in the golden population period with over 2.4 million people of working age, he said.
With high determination and great efforts, Thanh Hoa province is determined to build Thanh Hoa into a new growth point, together with Hanoi, Hai Phong, and Quang Ninh forming a development quadrangle in Northern Vietnam.
Currently, the free trade agreement between Vietnam and the EU (EVFTA) has opened up opportunities for businesses of the two countries Vietnam and Italy to strengthen cooperation. With potential strengths and outstanding opportunities, Thanh Hoa is currently the destination of many domestic and foreign investors.
He hoped that the Ambassador would support Thanh Hoa to strengthen investment and trade with Italian partners. Italy creates favorable conditions to support Thanh Hoa in accessing ODA capital and projects, using preferential loans from the Italian Government in high-tech agriculture, healthcare, and education training, contributing to socio-economic development.
He also wanted the Ambassador to strengthen exchanges and cooperation in culture and tourism to deepen understanding, deepening friendships on both sides.

Antonio Alessandro, Italian Ambassador to Vietnam, expressed his support for investment activities for Thanh Hoa province. This helps to call for Italian businesses and partners to visit and learn about the investment environment in Thanh Hoa province.
Italy helps introduce partners with modern production technology, and the potential to invest in petrochemical refining, food processing, manufacturing, and consumer goods. It thereby strengthens the relationship and commercial development between Thanh Hoa province and Italy to a new height.
The Ambassador also said that, in addition to production and trade, Italy is also interested in cooperation opportunities in culture and tourism. He said that after this visit, the relationship between Vietnam and Italy, between Thanh Hoa and Italian organizations particularly, will develop.
