Anti-corruption, wastefulness, and negative practices remain priority areas with no exemptions.
Chairman Tran Thanh Man noted that during the ongoing 8th session of the National Assembly, several significant measures are being deliberated to boost Vietnam’s development. These include policies on high-speed rail investment along the North-South axis and adjustments to the investment plan for the Long Thanh International Airport project.
He emphasized the country’s efforts to fulfill the 2021-2025 socio-economic development plan and implement the resolutions of the 13th National Party Congress. Preparations for the 14th National Party Congress and the 16th National Assembly elections, along with elections for People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term, are also underway.
Informing them of the homeland’s socio-economic situation, the Chairman mentioned that recently, Party General Secretary To Lam had written an important article on preventing wastefulness and reforming the organizational apparatus within the entire political system.
