National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man, accompanied by his spouse and a high-ranking delegation from the Vietnamese National Assembly, has conducted an official visit to Singapore at the invitation of Speaker of the Singaporean Parliament Seah Kian Peng and his spouse.
During a meeting with the Vietnamese community in Singapore, NA Chairman Tran Thanh Man emphasized that the visit aims to foster effective and substantive cooperation between Vietnam and Singapore across all sectors. The visit also seeks to elevate bilateral relations to a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership next year. Tran Thanh Man reiterated the Party and State's high regard for the Vietnamese community in Singapore, recognizing their role as a vital bridge in enhancing friendship and comprehensive cooperation between the two countries.
National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man expressed his hope that overseas Vietnamese in Singapore will continue to foster solidarity, and mutual support, and build a stable and thriving community. He emphasized that, in line with the Politburo's Conclusion, the National Assembly and the Government are refining relevant legal documents to better connect the Vietnamese community, including second and third generations, with their homeland.
