Receiving the information, at 1 pm, the Navy Region 5 Command sent Ship 470, Squadron 512, Brigade 127, and dozens of officers and soldiers to quickly deploy rescue activities.

After more than two hours, officers and soldiers of Naval Region 5 Command succeeded in getting the fishing boat out of the stranded area.

The boat, number KG 1725 TS, carried three fishermen on board. It is owned by Captain Lu Van Quan, who was born in 1989 and lives in Quarter 5, An Thoi Ward, Phu Quoc City, Kien Giang province.

They help the local people prevent coastal erosion, explosions, and forest fires. They inform about Vietnam's seas and islands and propagate against illegal, unreported, and unregulated fishing (IUU).
