The Government Office has just announced Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh's conclusion at an online meeting with leaders of Bac Giang and Bac Ninh provinces on Covid-19 prevention and control on the morning of May 26, 2021. The conclusion consists of four main points as follows.
Quick screening of all suspected cases
The covid-19 situation in Bac Giang and Bac Ninh is complicated progressing. The number of new cases is increasing rapidly in the areas of isolation and blockade. Bac Ninh and Bac Giang lie next to each other, both have big industrial zones locating near residential areas. Therefore, the risk of transmission is alerting.
While appreciating Bac Giang and Bac Ninh authorities' effort in coping with the pandemic, prime minister Pham Minh Chinh said that the provinces should frankly acknowledge limitations and inadequacies in the recent pandemic prevention and control practices to soon have solutions. Some ministries are still ineffective in coordinating with each other to handle related issues. Therefore, quick screening is required and people are asked to strictly comply with the current pandemic prevention regulations.

Greater efforts and determination to prevent the pandemic
In the coming days, the pandemic situation in Bac Giang and Bac Ninh is forecasted to develop complicatedly. Therefore, both Bac Giang and Bac Ninh have to closely coordinate and actively support relevant ministries in preventing and controlling the pandemic as soon as possible. The more people affected with Covid-19, the more resources, both human and facilities resources, are required to cope with the situation.
The provinces need to best protect the health and life of the people, and at the same time take appropriate and effective measures to ensure that production and business activities can well function.

Disinfectant chemicals granted for Covid-19 prevention and control to Bac Giang and Bac Ninh
At the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister Le Minh Khai directed the Ministry of Health to send 15 tons of Chloramine B from the national storage to Bac Giang, Bac Ninh.
Accordingly, Bac Giang province will receive 5 tons of Chloramine B, Bac Ninh will receive 3 tons of Chloramine B. The Ministry of Health will send 7 other tons of Chloramine B to provide other medical facilities to prevent the Covid-19 pandemic.
The Ministry of Health is responsible for reporting information and data about the situation. The People's Committees of the provinces and the Ministry of Health are assigned to receive, manage and use the mentioned disinfectant chemicals according to current regulations.

Orientation and key tasks for Bac Giang and Bac Ninh in the coming time
Regarding direction to control the pandemic, the prime minister asked the local authorities to specifically assign each unit, agency, and person to closely coordinate to timely, effectively, and drastically stamp out the pandemic while ensuring social-economic development. The prime minister asked two provinces to continue to strictly and effectively implement prevention measurements. The provinces need to consider prevention early, even since the localities report no cases yet, as basic and strategic decisions in pandemic prevention and control.
Local leaders must closely and thoroughly assess the situation, apply flexible, proactive, and effective prevention in accordance with their competence. Local authorities should pay close attention, avoid subjectiveness even when the pandemic is well controlled.
