At the year-end, forest peach blossoms burst into full bloom, dying a pink hue all over the mountains and hill flanks in Mu Cang Chai, Yen Bai Province, according to VNExpress.

Peach blossoms mainly naturally grow in the communes of La Pan Tan, Nam Khat, Pung Luong, and De Xu Phinh.

Peach blossoms have five pink petals with long red pistils, blooming in clusters until the Lunar New Year Festival, or Tet, Vietnam's biggest and most important holiday.

Thong said that the image that impresses him most is one depicting a child's cheeks next to a cluster of yellow rapeseed flowers at Sung La.

Sung La commune is located on the National Highway 4C, linking Yen Minh District with Dong Van Plateau in Ha Giang where spellbinds tourists with “Trình tường” houses enveloped by blooming rapeseed, peach and plum blossoms.
