Sweet wedding photos of an Vietnamese ethnic couple in their 80s
Mr. To, 82, and Mrs. Amronh, 70, have recently got a homely, but unique wedding photo album to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary. The photos have gone viral on the Internet and were well-praised by Vietnamese netizens.
Both To and Amronh belong to the Bana ethnic minority, were born and raised in Dak Doa, Gia Lai province, southern Vietnam. They happily married for the last 50 years and have 5 children in total.
Thewedding album is taken in the pine forest near their house. Being farmers working on the fields most of their life to earn a livelihood, To and Amronh live a simple, honest life. Therefore, they choose to do the traditional concept, with most of the photos are taken with Bana’s typical clothes on. They also borrow a suit and tie and a wedding dress from one relative to bring a modern vibe to the album.
Their youngest son – Anny – is the photographer behind the photos filled with love between the old couple.
Anny told Thanh Nien that their parents didn’t feel any tiredness during the shooting time, though they had been wandering around the pine forest for quite a few hours that day.

“My dad is very strict, but above all, his love for my mom and us is unconditional. They love their children more than anything in this world”, Anny told Thanh Nien. “My parents didn’t have a proper wedding album on their wedding day 50 years ago. Thus, this time, I wanted to do something special to celebrate their big anniversary”.
“The photo album pictures the love and the precious moment my parents spent together. We can feel just by looking at the photos that they love each other a lot. Many people say that the aged ones don’t want to take photos, but I don’t think so. I’ll try to take pictures of my parents as many as possible to capture the beautiful moments”, he added.
