Regarding Vietnam's "bamboo diplomacy", former Governor General of Australia Peter Cosgrove said that this is a mark showing Vietnam's cohesion with the international community.

The Indonesian journalist believes that with the policy of "bamboo diplomacy," Vietnam succeeded in maintaining realistic relations with major powers while ensuring national interests.
