Vietnam-Morocco Friendship Association desired to be established for promoting two nations' relationship
Vietnam and Morocco's relationship has been established for a long time and increasingly strengthened and developed. On the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, the President of the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations (VUFO) sent a congratulatory letter to the President of the Morocco-Vietnam Friendship Association, Professor El Mostafa Ktiri.

It is cited in the letter that: " On the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Morocco ( March 27, 1961 - March 27, 2021), on behalf of the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations, the Vietnam-Africa Friendship and Cooperation Association, I would like to convey my warmest congratulations and best wishes to you and all members of the Morocco-Vietnam Friendship Association.
Vietnam and Morocco have enjoyed a profound traditional friendship. Over the past 60 years, our bilateral relations have seen positive developments in all fields with regular political exchanges, stable growth in bilateral trade, and close coordination in international forums."
VUFO President Nguyen Phuong Nga also emphasizes in the letter that: " We highly appreciate the establishment of the Morocco-Vietnam Friendship Association, and its activities and close cooperation with Vietnam. On this occasion, we would like to express our sincere thanks to your invaluable efforts to consolidate the friendship between the two nations. Contribute to strengthening mutual understanding and friendship between our peoples."
The President of the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations affirmes: "The Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations, the Viet Nam - Africa Friendship and Cooperation Association will work closely with the your Association and the friendship organizations between the two countries to carry out more creative and efficient activities to further strengthen solidarity, traditional friendship and bilateral cooperation between Vietnam and the Kingdom of Morocco ".
Vietnam and Morocco established diplomatic relations on March 27, 1961. The two countries have had many exchanged activities and delegations at all levels and signed many important documents, including the Trade Agreement (2001), the Agreement on visa exemption for diplomatic, official and special passport holders. Especially in 2004, the Double Taxation Avoidance Agreements (2008), Agreement on encouragement and protection of investment, Agreement on cooperation in tourism (2012). |
