Vietnam sends 7 more officers to UN peacekeeping mission

On the morning of June 28, the Ministry of Defense handed over the decision of the President to send seven more Vietnamese officers to UN peacekeeping mission in Central African Republic and South Sudan. Three of them have joined the UN peacekeeping mission for the second time.

Senior Lieutenant Nguyen Chi Vinh, Deputy Minister of Defense hands over the decision of the President to send 7 more Vietnamese officers to UN peacekeeping mission

Attending the ceremony, Senior Lieutenant Nguyen Chi Vinh, Deputy Minister of Defense recommend the officers to keep the quality of the Vietnamese people's army officers and keep themself safe while on duty.

“No matter how difficult the situation is, Vietnamese military officers must keep their internal solidarity and international solidarity; absolutely no violation of military discipline and UN regulations", he added.

So far, Vietnam has sent 100 officials and officers to UN peacekeeping mission.
