Vietnamese and Southeast Asian Women Shine at Expo Dubai
For International Women's Day, Vietnam Exhibitor at EXPO Dubai co-organized the program "ASEAN honors International Women's Day" with various activities.
The attendants were Nguyen Manh Tuan, Ambassador Plenipotentiary and Extraordinary of Vietnam to the United Arab Emirates, Lee Yoong Yoong, Representative General of ASEAN at Expo Dubai, Director of Exhibitors in ASEAN region and representatives of Exhibitors.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the program, Phung Thi Thanh Thuy, Director of the Vietnam Exhibition House emphasized that women are a major source of inspiration.
“If you give them a house, they create a home. If you give them ingredients, they will make a delicious meal. If you give them a smile, they will give you a loving heart,” Thuy said.
The Director of the Vietnam Exhibition House also affirmed the important role of women as pioneers who take give initiative and action to build a better world.
Lee Yoong Yoong, General Representative of ASEAN at Expo 2020 Dubai, congratulated the female leaders and staff of the ASEAN Regional Exhibition Hall.
He said he highly appreciated the activity "Break the Bias" - one of the campaigns to honor women at Expo 2020, and wished that female leaders and officials of the House ASEAN regional exhibition the best in the future.

At Expo 2020 Dubai, the female leaders of ASEAN Regional Exhibitors demonstrated their responsibilities, bravery and creativity in coordinating and participating in programs.
Overcoming the unprecedented difficulties and challenges caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, female leaders have left their mark through many events in various fields of politics, economy, culture, tourism.

Within the framework of the program "ASEAN honors International Women's Day", the parade around the Expo route has attracted a large response and participation of the staff of the ASEAN Regional Exhibitors.
Dressing in traditional costumes, they joined the parade to honor and introduce the beauty of Southeast Asian women to international friends.
Each employee is a flower, the friendly and hospitable representative face of the Exhibitor, contributing to promoting the country's image at the world's largest cultural event.
The parade ended at the Indonesia Gallery, where a special art performance program was held, upholding the ASEAN spirit, cohesion and creative initiative.
The program "ASEAN honors International Women's Day" has highlighted the harmonious beauty between tradition and modernity of Vietnamese women, contributing to affirming the rights and roles of women.
