Nearly 300 art-loving Vietnamese community members across Germany brought amazing performances in response to the event.

Speaking at the ceremony, Hoang Thi Du, President of the Association of Vietnamese Traditional Art Lovers in Germany, expressed her joy when seeing the solidarity and enthusiasm of Vietnamese individuals who love traditional arts throughout Germany.

She also affirmed that traditional art is a bridge that connects art-loving souls, and a catalyst to bring Vietnamese people living far away from their homeland closer together. It contributes to helping the Vietnamese community in Germany grow stronger.

According to Vu Ngoc Doan, Vice President of the Association of Vietnamese Traditional Art Lovers in Germany, folk songs are a music genre that occupies a significant position in the Vietnamese musical treasure. Through each song, the customs, thoughts, and aspirations of people are blended perfectly. Those traditional cultural values will be the power to build Vietnamese cultural identity.

"Folk Songs in the Hearts of Expatriates" also includes other traditional Vietnamese art forms such as dancing, Cheo singing, poetry recitation, and quan ho singing.
