Vietnamese Embassy in China Holds Cultural Exchange Festival

The Embassy of Vietnam in China and the Chinese Association of International Friendship & Cultural Festivals recently held the 22nd a cultural exchange event in Beijing.

The Embassy of Vietnam in China and the Chinese Association of International Friendship & Cultural Festivals have jointly held the 22nd Cultural Exchange Among Diplomatic Corps in China in the capital Beijing.

The event was attended by over 300 guests and representatives from 30 embassies and international organizations in Beijing, including from mass organizations, businesses and journalists.

In his opening speech, Ambassador of Vietnam to China Pham Sao Mai said that through the event, the people of China and international friends would understand more about the country, culture and customs of the people of Vietnam, which would contribute to strengthening the understanding and friendship and boosting cultural exchange between Vietnam and China and different countries.

President of the Chinese Association of International Friendship & Cultural Festivals Cui Yong An noted that the the event, honored Vietnamese culture and celebrated the 76th anniversary of Vietnam’s Independence Day, while also showing the respect, friendship and solidarity between China and Vietnam.

Cui added that the traditional cultures of all countries in the world, including Vietnam, were a priceless shared property of humanity and enhanced cultural exchange would cement the social foundation for collaboration between countries.

Participants attending the 22nd Cultural Exchange Among Diplomatic Corps in China joined a photo exhibition, enjoyed the beauty of Vietnam’s traditional Ao Dai and traditional costumes of other countries and traditional Vietnamese dishes.

The event was organized to celebrate the 76th anniversary of Vietnam’s Independence Day and to carry out cultural diplomacy to promote Vietnamese culture to Chinese people and international friends.

Vietnam’s traditional costumes and cuisine at the event were highly appreciated by all the participants.
