Within the framework of attending the Vietnam Youth Student Summer Camp in Europe, the delegation of the Central Youth Union was led by Nguyen Ngoc Luong, Standing Secretary of the Central Committee of the Youth Union, chairman of the Vietnamese Youth Union, visited the monument of President Ho Chi Minh and the Ho Chi Minh Space in Montreuil city, France.

Montreuil is the second-largest city in the Seine-Saint-Denis region in the northeast of Paris, under the influence of the French Communist Party. It is a historic site with much industrial heritage and horticultural traditions. Montreau Park in Montreuil has a bust of President Ho Chi Minh. The city's Living History Museum has a Ho Chi Minh space.

Ho Chi Minh Space was inaugurated on May 19, 2000, on the occasion of the 110th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh. This is the place to display many historical artifacts related to Uncle Ho and also the only permanent display of the Museum of Living History. On an area of ​​about 10m², the Montreuil city government restored the original small room at 9 Compoint Lane where Uncle Ho lived and worked as a photographer from 1921 to 1923.

Ho Chi Minh monument was erected by the Montreuil city government on May 19, 2005, on the 115th anniversary of Uncle Ho's birthday. This is the place where officials from Vietnamese representative agencies and overseas Vietnamese in France come to offePresident Ho Chi Minh’s Monument incense in memory of Uncle Ho on every occasion of May 19. The leader sacrificed his whole life for the cause of the national liberation struggle.

This is also the place where French friends come to express their admiration and admiration for President Ho Chi Minh -“ the hero of national liberation, the cultural celebrity of Vietnam” as stated in the 1987 UNESCO Resolution. Uncle Ho is also a symbol of the friendship between the two peoples of Vietnam and France.

The ninth opening ceremony of the Vietnam Youth Student Summer Camp in Europe took place on August 24 at the Vietnam Cultural Center in France.

The annual event, organized by the Vietnamese Youth Students in Europe, aims to connect young Vietnamese people abroad, and strengthen cultural ties, whilst boosting sporting and scientific exchanges among young people.

The event is scheduled to run through August 27.
