Similar weather patterns are forecast for the above-said localities from July 9-14, the centre said.
Rainfall is forecast to increase across Vietnam in July, especially during the last ten days of the month.
Chances of rain and thunderstorms will increase in northern and central provinces this month, while seasonal downpours in the Central Highlands and southern Vietnam will also intensify, according to the National Center for Hydro-meteorological Forecasting.
Medium to heavy rain is expected to dampen northern localities between July 2 and 4, accompanied by cyclones, lightning, and gusts, as well as flooding in low-lying areas and landslides in mountainous localities.
In Hanoi, showers are in the forecast throughout the day.
Rainfall will decrease in the region on July 5 and 6, though temperatures will surge.
Authorities are on the watch for forest fires they believe might crop up as a result of the extreme heat.
From July 11 to 20, rainfall in most regions of Vietnam will be 15 to 25 percent lower than the average amount recorded in previous years.
However, rain throughout the country will be 15 to 25 percent higher than previous years between July 21 and 31.
