Winter carnival excites crowds in Quang Ninh province

One of the event’s highlights was an open stage with the World Natural Heritage Site of Ha Long Bay in the background where more than 100 cruise ships parading back and forth. Nguyen Ngoc Son, Vice Chairman of Ha Long City said that “We plan to hold more such cultural events during winter to attract visitors. The Ha Long Winter Carnival will become an annual event.”

“I’m so excited. I’m so proud of my homeland, which has been hosting many extravagant events,” Tran Thi Thuy Linh, a Ha Long resident was quoted by VOV as saying.
