Winter carnival excites crowds in Quang Ninh province
A large number of visitors flocked to Ha Long City in the northern province of Quang Ninh to welcome New Year and enjoy the city’s famous Winter Carnival.

One of the event’s highlights was an open stage with the World Natural Heritage Site of Ha Long Bay in the background where more than 100 cruise ships parading back and forth. Nguyen Ngoc Son, Vice Chairman of Ha Long City said that “We plan to hold more such cultural events during winter to attract visitors. The Ha Long Winter Carnival will become an annual event.”
