Samsung Galaxy S21 - 14 January 2021
According to Business Insider, Samsung is expected to launch three devices in the Galaxy S21 series – the base Galaxy S21, the Galaxy S21+ and the premium Galaxy S21 Ultra. While the US variant will be powered by the Snapdragon 888 chipset, the devices will be powered by the Exynos 2100 chipset in India and other countries. While the S21 and S21+ will feature a triple camera setup at the back, the S21 Ultra will come with a quad camera setup.
The Galaxy S21 Ultra is also expected to feature S Pen support. The Galaxy S21 series is expected to be announced in January at the Galaxy Unpacked event.
This year we're going to see the Galaxy S21 series a little earlier on 14 January 2020, reported Tech Advisor.
It's likely the new line-up will move to the new Snapdragon 888 processor, at least in the US, and we'd be surprised if 5G didn't come as standard across the range.
A bigger change will come to wired charging, with the S21 tipped to hit as much as 65W.The S21 is likely to feature a design evolution rather than revolution, with the same 120Hz (possibly even 144Hz) displays and tweaked 108Mp cameras we saw introduced in 2020, potentially dropping the ToF camera.
Huawei P50 series - Q1 2021While it’s unlikely that Huawei will regain its partnership with Google and regain Google Mobile Services anytime soon, the Huawei P50 series will certainly arrive early next year, as is tradition for Huawei. We have heard little to nothing about the device, though rumors put the 5nm Kirin 9000 chipset inside, which could be Huawei’s last in-house Kirin chipset. Judging from previous years, we might see a Huawei P50, Huawei P50 Pro, and a Huawei P50 Pro Plus, followed by an affordable Huawei P50 Lite. All of these will likely be unveiled in the first half of 2021, and probably Q1, to be more specific, reported Phone Arena.
Xiaomi Mi 11 - January 2021The Xiaomi Mi 11 is set to be announced in China later today and will go on sale in January. The device is expected to be announced in India later next year and will likely be the first Snapdragon 888 powered device in the country. The device is expected to feature a triple camera setup consisting of a 108MP primary camera and the Mi 11 Pro is expected to feature a whopping 192MP primary camera. The two devices are expected to offer the company’s 120W fast charging. However, the company has confirmed that the Mi 11 series will not come with the charging brick in the box.
