This home coffee shop helps them to quench their cravings for the drinks they often enjoy when going out to relax at shops. Ingredient
Dry ingredients: coffee (roasted and ground), matcha powder, tea (oolong, black tea, green tea...), can be bought at supermarkets, coffee shops or e-commerce platforms around VND 60,000 - 250,000/200g (US$ 2,5 - 10).
Liquid ingredients: Fresh milk, condensed milk, fat milk, cream. Fresh milk and condensed milk are easily available at most supermarkets. Full-fat milk can be purchased at bakeries or large supermarkets at Price about VND 100,000-150,000 / 1 liter (US$ 4-8)
Sweeteners: sugar, honey, bottled fruit syrup, fruit jams, some fresh ingredients like fruit. Temperate fruits such as blueberries, raspberries will be a bit expensive, about VND 50,000 - 100,000 / 200 grams (US$ 2- 5)
Preservation of raw materials
Dry ingredients should be stored in an airtight container, in a cool place, away from direct sunlight. This helps to prevent aroma tea, coffee from losing their smell for many months.
The best fresh milk is pasteurized but it has a short life, so consider buying it. In addition, other types of milk, once opened, should be stored in the refrigerator.
Fruit can be frozen for long-term use.
Menu of 14 delicious homemade drinks
Day 1: Milk coffee
Simple drink with condensed milk and traditional filter coffee. You can choose to stir the milk with a little hot water. Then add ice and pour the hot brewed coffee on top to create a floating effect.
Day 2: Matcha Latte
Mix about 1/2 teaspoon of pure matcha powder with 50-60ml of warm water, stir until the mixture is completely dissolved. Put ice in a glass, add fresh milk or nut milk about 2/3 cup and pour hot matcha mixture on top. Add sugar water according to taste.
Day 3: Lemon soda
Dissolve lemon juice with 2-3 tablespoons of yellow sugar and about 50ml of filtered water. Then put in a glass, add ice and pour over the top with unsweetened soda water or carbonated mineral water. Garnish with a few slices of lemon and rosemary leaves. If possible, use yellow lemon to make the water more fragrant than green lemon.
Day 4: Cold brew coffee with salted lemon
Pickled salted lemon with water, add about 50ml of filtered water and 2 teaspoons of sugar. Stir well, then add ice and pour cold brew coffee on top.
Day 5: Strawberry black tea
Strawberries are sliced, soaked in sugar overnight. No need to add too much sugar or water. Brew 1 cup of black tea. Take the strawberry juice out 1/3 cup, add ice, squeeze in a few drops of lemon, continue to add ice and pour the tea on top. Garnish with some thyme or basil leaves.
Day 6: Strawberry milk
Use a spoon/fork to sprinkle the strawberries with sugar, leave for about 5-10 minutes for the strawberries to absorb and the sugar to dissolve. Put the strawberries in a glass, add ice and pour the fresh milk on top. It is recommended to use unsweetened milk because the strawberry itself has sweetness.
Day 7: Dalgona coffee
Put 2 teaspoons of instant black + 2 teaspoons of sugar and 2 tablespoons of boiling water in a cup. Beat until the mixture becomes thick and has a certain foaminess. Put ice cubes in a cup and pour milk as you like. Then, put the foam coffee mixture on top and enjoy.
Day 8: Hibiscus flower tea and yellow lemonade Soak 3 Hibiscus flowers/red artichoke flowers in hot water for about 10 minutes to get beautiful colors. Mix lemon juice and sugar in about 1/3 cup. Add ice and soda water to 1/2 cup, the rest is to pour Hibiscus water on top. |
Day 9: Viennese coffee
Brew coffee with a Moka Pot for deep black coffee. Add ice and some filtered water. Topping is a layer of whipping cream that is slightly whipped.
Day 10: Very Berry Soda
Soak a few frozen raspberries and raspberries with a few tablespoons of sugar. Leave for about 15-20 minutes for this fruit to release water. Place the fruit syrup and fruit pulp in a glass, add ice, and fill the glass with soda water. Garnish with a few slices of lemon, rosemary leaves and add 1 tablespoon of juice on top.
Day 11: Fat milk coffee
It's still the coffee I made with a filter, but I drink it with full cream fat to increase the fat
Day 12: Cocoa Macchiato
Take 2 tablespoons of pure cocoa powder, add 1-2 tablespoons of sugar, add a little hot water and stir well. Pour the mixture into a glass, add ice, pour fresh milk over the glass almost full. Use whipping cream to beat with a little salt to give this cream a salty taste. Pour on top and you're done.
Day 13: Butterfly pea flower lemon tea
Strain 4-5 butterfly pea flowers with about 100 ml of water for 10-15 minutes to make the flowers green. Pour lime juice mixed with a little sugar to the bottom of the glass, add ice near the glass. Pour the butterfly pea perfume on top. The part of the butterfly pea flower that meets the sour/acid in the lemon juice will turn from green to a beautiful purple color.
Day 14: Black sugar pearl milk coffee
Cook pearls and soak with brown sugar. Use while the pearls are still warm. Prepare 1 cup of strong black coffee. Pour the pearls down first, add ice and milk. Then pour in the coffee and slowly add the whipped cream on top.
