According to Viet Nam National Administration of Tourism, on June 10, Da Nang Tourism Promotion Center signed a $100,000 tourism ad deal with Global Book Corporation, an official media representative of the BBC World News. Under the agreement, 30-second clips depicting the gorgeous natural scenery, cuisine, and people of the coastal city will be broadcasted four times every day, specifically at the time of 6 am - 9:30, 9:30 - 17:00, 17:00 - 19:00 and 19:00 - 24h00. The cooperation program lasts for almost one month, from June 5 to June 30. There are a total of 98 ad videos, informed the VNExpress.
"The images of hospitable Da Nang people, unique and diverse culture, superb cuisine as well as magnificent landscapes will be promoted on BBC”, said Mrs. Huynh Thi Lan Huong- the Deputy Director of Da Nang Tourism Promotion Center. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, tourism stimulation campaigns are comparatively limited. “This broadcast is projected to enhance the image of Da Nang city to international tourists, from which can partly lure more visitors coming to Da Nang”, she added.
My Khe beach- one of the most beautiful beaches in the world by Forbes, the Golden Bridge on Ba Na Hills, Son Tra Peninsula, Ngu Hanh Son Mountain, Hai Van Pass, special festivals like International Fireworks Festival, unique cuisine will be featured in the videos, reported Bao Moi.
