According to the Japanese police, the Japanese Parliament is passing a policy to reform the system for receiving foreign interns, students, and engineers... in a way that creates more favorable conditions for them. In case the receiving company does not meet the worker's wishes or does not comply with the original commitment, foreign workers can transfer to another company without having to return home.

This also limits the acts of bullying or oppression of workers by many dispatching companies and labor unions. This will help to reduce the number of workers who must flee to reside and work illegally. Other policies are also considered by the Japanese parliament including the exemption or reduction of income tax, residence tax... for foreign workers, international students working part-time...

Representing FAVIJA, Do Quang Ba expressed his gratitude to the General Department of Police for creating opportunities for FAVIJA to carry out useful activities to limit individuals who affect the general image of Vietnamese people in Japan. He considered it a step towards achieving the requirements set forth by the Japanese side for the Japanese government and parliament to pass and approve new policies that benefit the Vietnamese community in Japan and foreigners in Japan in general. Thereby building and strengthening the good image of Vietnamese people in the eyes of the Japanese people, contributing to enhancing the inseparable friendship between the two countries.

Mr. Ba also hoped that the Japanese Police intervene to change the way Japanese mass media report on crimes committed by Vietnamese people in Japan.

Ba insisted that explanatory information is necessary so that Japanese people understand that these are some rotten apples spoiling the barrel that exist in almost every country. Most Vietnamese people are very nice and the Vietnamese community in Japan is making great contributions to maintaining and developing Japan's economy. There are many examples of good Vietnamese people in Japan who are brave, not afraid of danger, not afraid of disadvantages to themselves, to help the Japanese people, which even the Japanese may not be able to do.
