Recently, several friendship unions under the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations (VUFO) have carried out many meaningful activities to support local people with difficult circumstances and international students during the time when many localities implement social distancing against Covid-19. When the fourth wave of Covid broke out, many Laotian and Cambodian students studying in Vietnam could not return home countries during summer vacation. To support them in this trying time, the Union of Friendship Organizations of Dong Nai province coordinated with the provincial Vietnam-Laos Friendship Association to give 31 gift packages including necessities and cash, each rate worth VND 500,000.
All the above gifts were mobilized by the Dong Nai Friendship Union and contributed by members of the local Vietnam-Laos Friendship Association to support and encourage Lao and Cambodian international students strictly follow the regulations on social distancing, contribute together with the province to soon repel the pandemic.
