In this cooperation journey, Denmark in Your Eyes painting contest is considered an opportunity to deepen the friendship and create conditions for the young generation of Vietnam to participate in and make efforts to transform the country’s green.

Le Ngoc Tuan, Deputy Director of the Department of Climate Change (Ministry of Agriculture and Environment) and Vice Chairman of the Vietnam – Denmark Friendship Association shared that the Denmark in Your Eyes painting contest is not only a useful playground for students across the country but also a cultural bridge between Vietnam and Denmark, which are tens of thousands of kilometers apart. With their rich imaginations imbued with innocence and purity, students from all over the country have brought to these green ideas, vividly expressed through each drawing.

"That shows that today's young generation is very aware and very concerned about the serious challenges that humanity is facing today due to environmental pollution and climate change, but also puts their faith and hope in a green, sustainable future for humanity", Tuan emphasized.

According to Tuan, the works in the contest will be a source of inspiration for each of us to make changes in the way we live and behave towards nature. Each of those small changes, when added together, will create huge positive impacts on the whole society.

The Jury selected and awarded 74 individual prizes including one Special Prize, two First Prizes, four Second Prizes, eight Third Prizes, 50 Fourth Prizes and nine Promising Prizes. The Organizing Committee also awarded five Collective Prizes to the Union of Frienship Organizations of Hue city, Can Tho city and Dong Thap province along with Nguyen Sieu School and CGD School.

In particular, the Special Prize went to the work "Green World - Green Future" by Nguyen Hoang Thinh, a 6th grade student at Hanoi Victoria School.
