In their letters and messages of congratulation, international friends warmly congratulated Politburo Member and President To Lam on his election as General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee.

They also expressed their confidence that under the leadership of General Secretary and President To Lam, the Communist Party of Vietnam, the people, and the country of Vietnam will continue to develop and successfully achieve the set goals.

In his congratulatory message, Chairman of the Association of Korean People Loving Vietnam (VESAMO) Chang Ho-ick wrote: VESAMO believes that under the leadership of your Excellency, the Vietnamese people will continue to achieve greater new victories in building a prosperous socialist nation, where people enjoy a happy life, and that the Vietnam-South Korea relations will continue to be steadily strengthened and beautifully developed.

Chairman of the Korea-Vietnam Economic and Cultural Association (KOVECA) Kwon Sung-taek expressed his trust for Vietnam's future under General Secretary and President To Lam's leadership in his congratulations message.

The People's Liberation Front-JVP Srilanka expressed their confidence that General Secretary and President To Lam will continue the legacy of President Ho Chi Minh and General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, continuing the strategies of the Communist Party of Vietnam to achieve socio-economic development goals and campaign against corruption.

In his letter, Men Sam An, President of the Cambodia-Vietnam Friendship Association, stated that General Secretary and President To Lam truly deserves his new leadership position as he is an experienced leader with a good track record of work, skillful leadership abilities, and unwavering faith in the path of the Communist Party of Vietnam, as well as ideals, patriotism, and tireless dedication to serving the people.

The Secretariat of the Communist Party of Bolivia expressed their belief that the Communist Party of Vietnam, under the wise leadership of General Secretary and President To Lam, will strengthen solidarity and unity, successfully implement targets set at the 13th National Party Congress, and reap new revolutionary achievements.

Chairman of the Romania-Vietnam Friendship Association "Lotus” Mihai Condescu believed that under the leadership of General Secretary and President To Lam, Vietnam could be listed among the developed countries in the world.

In addition, Chinese intellectuals, including Chen Zhijin, the daughter of General Chen Geng, and Huang Qun, the former Chairman of the Guangdong People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries extended their congratulations to General Secretary and President To Lam.
