Vietnam National Authority of Tourism (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) informed that the unit will coordinate with localities to promote Vietnamese tourism in 2024 with many activities abroad.

Vietnam will participate in the 10th Bali Beyond Tourism Fair (BBTF) from June 12-14 in Nusa Dua, Bali (Indonesia). The event, held annually, connects businesses, creating conditions for cooperation on quality tourism for MICE tourism products, entertainment tourism, and special tourism products.

From June 23 to July 3, the Vietnam Tourism Introduction Program will be held in Paris (France), Frankfurt (Germany), and Milan (Italy). This is an opportunity for the Vietnam National Authority of Tourism, localities, and tourism businesses to introduce policies, destinations, and tourism products aimed at the European market.

The program creates opportunities for localities and tourism businesses to connect and establish business cooperation, attracting French, German, and Italian tourists in particular and European tourists in general to travel to Vietnam and vice versa.

From July 1-8, the Vietnam National Authority of Tourism organized a tourism introduction program in Moscow and Saint Petersburg, Russian Federation to promote the beauty of the country and people of Vietnam; Introducing new tourism policies to attract and restore the number of Russian tourists to Vietnam.

Also during the above time, "Vietnamese Cultural Days in the Russian Federation in 2024" will take place in the above two cities, thereby contributing to introducing and promoting the cultural values ​​and tourism potential of Vietnam to the Russian public through art performances, film screenings, exhibitions, and tourism promotion seminars. Especially the space for displaying and introducing culture and tourism with the theme "Vietnam - The country of world heritages" and Vietnam Film Days will also be held.

The activities will be held to express the quintessence and national cultural identity, harmoniously combining traditional and contemporary arts. Thereby aiming to enhance understanding, friendship, and good cooperation between the people of the two countries, contributing to the further development of the comprehensive strategic partnership between Vietnam and Russia.

In the past five months, international visitors to Vietnam reached nearly 7.6 million people, up 64.9% over the same period last year, and 3.9% over the same period in 2019 - before COVID-19.

The entire industry is striving to achieve the goal of welcoming 17-18 million international visitors and serving 110 million domestic visitors (of which about 72.5 million stay guests) in 2024. Total revenue from tourists will reach about VND 840,000 billion.

In the coming time, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism will continue to coordinate with localities to develop high-class, multi-experience destinations with creative, unique, inter-regional products that attract and retain customers. At the same time, the ministry aims to develop Vietnam into a safe, civilized, friendly destination with a green, clean, and beautiful environment.

In addition, relevant units continue to innovate content and methods of promoting and promoting tourism; focusing on developing and exploiting customer market segments according to thematic products that Vietnam has strengths in.
