Room To Read Gifts The 10th “Friendly Library” To Hau Giang
This is one of the ten libraries given to ten schools in Chau Thanh A district, Long My town, and Nga Bay City, Hau Giang. The total cost of building the libraries is more than VND 1.2 billion.

Each library will be fully equipped with book shelves, baskets, various types of books, and lights, along with chairs and desks for people to sit and read. Room To Read will support books for the libraries for 3 years and help with training on library setup and management for the teachers.

The activity was implemented to support the "Elementary School Friendly Library" program, which was organized by the Ministry of Education and Training and the Room to Read Organization in different localities in Vietnam. The program aims to develop the reading ability and reading habits of students at the elementary level. It also helps create a friendly learning environment for the children, and contributes to the movement "Building friendly schools and active students".

Room to Read is a non-profit organization founded in 2000 with the mission: The world changes when children go to school. RtR has reached more than 39 million children in 23 countries, while also providing remote solutions to facilitate students' learning outside the classroom. In Vietnam, Room to Read has operated in 46 provinces and supported more than 2 million children.
