In a series of communication activities on child protection, World Vision Vietnam has organized a festival on life skills and online safety for 2,296 sponsored and vulnerable children in three project communes of Dak R'Lap District, Dak Nong Province.
This belongs to World Vision Vietnam's effort to create a fun, safe and meaningful environment for children to learn and practice necessary life skills to protect themselves and their peers from all forms of violence, including physical and online violence.
Recently, in Nong Son District, Quang Nam Province, within the framework of the Child Protection program, World Vision Vietnam also organized a training course on communications to stimulate behavioral change towards ending all forms of violence against children, especially physical and online violence.
The training course was an opportunity for 32 participants - instructors from the district child protection network to improve their communication skills to raise parents' awareness of physical violence against children and the risks children face when using social networks; and develop communication plan in the community.
Training courses like this are a regular activity of World Vision Vietnam, which aims to strengthen the capacity of local partners, ensure effective implementation of the Child Protection program, thus contributing to bring children a safe and healthy living environment.

This March, in Mai Chau District, Hoa Binh Province, World Vision Vietnam organized a workshop series on the Celebrating Families Model. Participated in the event were parents and caregivers from Son Thuy Commune.
Here, parents and caregivers were equipped with knowledge and skills to create a safe, loving, and happy environment for children to grow up in. The learning process involved the following valuable concepts: Creating space for LOVE, Finding seeds of GOODNESS, Opportunities for FORGIVENESS and Reasons for THANKSGIVING.
Since 1990, World Vision has joined hands with the Vietnamese government and other non-governmental organizations to carry out many relief, development, and advocacy programs. World Vision currently operates in about 15 cities and provinces throughout Vietnam.
