Earlier, in response to the call of the General Secretary, State President Nguyen Phu Trong, and Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc, the Vietnamese Embassy in Ukraine cooperated with Vietnamese communities in the country to launch programs to support flood-hit people in the Central provinces.

The program received enthusiastic responses from the Vietnamese community, especially people in big cities such as Kyiv, Odessa and Kharkiv. Hundreds of collectives and individuals joined hands to share with the difficulties and losses of central people. As of October 31, the total amount of donation reached 17,429 USD.
