Released on July 5, “Có chắc yêu là đây” boasts the highest Youtube premiere in Vietnam with 901,000 live views, and landed at the 4th place globally – which is only behind Korean girl group BLACKPINK's "How You Like That" and "Kill This Love", and BTS's "On".

With catchy melody and meaningful lyrics, Son Tung MTP’s lastest MV quickly went viral and reached 10 million views after only 3 hours, overtaking his previous comeback “Give it to me”.

It also tops the list of “most-watched videos within 24 hours”. The 12.3 million views one day after released has springboarded it to the first and second highest place in the chart of most-watched videos within 24 hours in Aisa and worldwide, respectively. On top of that, the new MV receives over 1 billion likes and over 244 million comments.

"Co Chac Yeu La Day", featuring R&B and hip hop music, also topped the iTunes music chart in Vietnam following its release and is still taking the #1 Youtube trending in Vietnam for three consecutive days. It also enters the top Youtube trending in Canada, Australia, Korea, the US, etc.

Last month, the soundtrack to his music documentary "Sky Tour" also topped Vietnam's iTunes charts, entering the top 10 in several other countries following domestic release.

At the age of 26, Tung already has a bunch of hits, a big fandom and many accolades under his belt, including an MTV Europe Music Award. He was hailed the “number one artist in Vietnam” by South Korean newspapers.

Son Tung's previous song had also gained near-unimaginable records far surpass V-pop boundary

Just after six hours of release, the 25-year-old Vietnamese pop star’s "Hay trao cho anh" (Give it to me) music video (MV) leaped to No.1 among YouTube Trending videos in Vietnam with over 12 million views adding to 1.2 million likes and 170,000 comments on Google’s platform.

On the international stage, “Give it to me” has jumped to top 2 of YouTube Trending videos in Canada, top 9 in the US, top 5 in South Korea and top 14 of global YouTube Trending videos.

The figures were recorded by METUBE, updated via YouTube’s Analytics Realtime.

Especially, the MV which marked his comeback after a dormant year was crowned world and Asia’s most viewed YouTube MV in 24 hours.

Besides, after 2hours and 49 minutes, the MV also achieved 1 million likes in the shortest time ever on YouTube Vietnam, surpassing all V-pop MVs in the history and just behind the Korean girl group BlackPink’s MV “Kill this Love” and the US’ Ariana Grande “Thank u, next” on global YouTube.
