Vietnamese Students in Russia: Emotional Tour to the Vietnam's National Assembly Building
During the tour, the delegation visited the underground archeological exhibition area of various pre-Thang Long ( 7-10th century) and Thang Long (11-18th century) periods. The exhibition displays thousands of well-preserved archaeological relics such as ancient wells, crockery, roof tiles, and floor tiles.

The delegation learned about the artifacts, the model of the National Assembly Building, and the President of the National Assembly through the tenures. They also saw important historical legal documents promulgated by the National Assembly. in person. The highlight of the tour is Dien Hong Hall, where the plenary sessions of the National Assembly of Vietnam take place. Twice a year, nearly 500 delegates across the country sit together at Dien Hong Hall to discuss development directions and decide on important national issues.

Sharing their feelings after taking the tour, the students said they are grateful for the achievements made by generations of the National Assembly to the successor generations.
"This was formerly the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long, now it is the National Assembly Building - where important issues of the country are decided. Coming here, I feel inspired to study hard so that I can return to build the country in the future, " said Pham Duy Nguyen ( Plekhanov Russian University of Economics).
Nguyen added that over the past 75 years, the National Assembly has made great strides in terms of the number and quality of delegates, and the approved opinions. The 15th National Assembly has passed many decisions and law projects, such as the North-South Expressway Project, creating leverage to accomplish important socio-economic goals of the country. In particular, Vietnam has achieved many economic development achievements after the COVID-19 pandemic. Now, international friends not only know about Vietnam with its heroic history but also know that the country is on the way of renewal and development.
"For these reasons, I am very impressed with the achievements of the 15th National Assembly", said the Vietnamese student.
A doctoral student at the Academy of Security of the Russian Federation, Bui Dinh Trong that Vietnam's position in the international arena has increased significantly since starting the first National Assembly election took place on January 6, 1946.
"When the first National Assembly election took place across the country, it was in the context of internal and external enemies, and extremely difficult economic and social situations. The victory of the General Election ushered in a new era, the time when our country had a National Assembly which was legally nominal to represent the Vietnamese electorate,", he said.

Currently, Vietnam has achieved many great achievements in the country's socio-economic development and foreign affairs, said Trong, and good politics with the permanent members of the United Nations Security Council.
Bui Dinh Trong hopes that in the future, Vietnam will continue to develop in all fields of politics, diplomacy, economy, science-technology, and the military.
For Hoang Thu Trang (Patrice Lumumba Peoples' Friendship University of Russia), she enjoyed admiring archaeological relics through many periods and learning new knowledge from the tour, such as the architecture of the National Assembly building, Vietnam's history through the pre-Thang Long and Thang Long periods.
"When standing in Dien Hong Hall, I feel very proud of the tradition of my country and people. As an international student, I feel it is my responsibility to introduce and promote the image of the country and people of Vietnam to international friends," said Trang.

According to Thu Trang, as Vietnam's "cultural ambassador" abroad, Vietnamese students in the Russian Federation often organize Cultural Holidays to introduce to international friends the image of the country and its people. At Trang's university, the Vietnamese student community holds Vietnam Culture Week to show traditional dishes and folk art, such as calligraphy, and stall dancing, as well as silk and Dong Ho paintings exhibition, and performing traditional martial arts performances in the Russian Federation.
