Women, key role playing to the world's Peace and Security: UNSCR1325
Women’s participation is key to creating a sustainable peace.
Today (31 October) marks 20 years since the United Nations Security Council adopted Resolution 1325 on women and peace and security- the first resolution to recognise women’s leadership and contribution to achieve international peace and security.
On this occasion, join us in hearing from ambassadors of countries to Vietnam as well as organisations and individuals here in the country who have contributed to strengthening the role of women for peace and security over the past 20 years, by UK in Vietnam (Official Facebook account of the British Embassy in Vietnam).
