According to VNA, they also mentioned Vietnam’s achievements in political, social and economic areas and external affairs, as well as the CPV’s goals and orientations to 2030, with a vision to 2045.
In an article highlighting Vietnam’s preparation for the Communist Party congress published on Pravda (the Truth) newspaper, Piotr Tsvetov, Vice Chairman of the Russia-Vietnam Friendship Association (RVFA), said the main objectives and strategic tasks of the Vietnamese communists are to develop a prosperous and happy country, striving to turn Vietnam into a socialist-oriented developed country by the middle of the 21st century.
He highly valued the determination of the CPV’s leaders in strictly handling violations, from dismissing, expelling from the Party to prosecuting and bringing to trials, in the spirit of "no restricted zones".
Meanwhile, Chairman of the Council of Experts of the Eurasian Research Fund Grigory Trofimchuk, in his article published on infox.ru - one of Russia's leading electronic newspapers, said that thanks to the strategic guideline set by the CPV, taking into account all changes in the world, the region and the country, Vietnam has made many impressive achievements across fields.
Vietnam and its people are on the right track and become an example for many countries, he stressed, adding that the CPV will lead the nation in all aspects.
Previously, in a programme of the Rassvet (Dawn) TV channel, Grigory Trofimchuk, an expert on international issues, said with the foreign policy of openness, multilateralisation and diversification, on the basis of inheriting the traditional friendship with the former Soviet Union, the CPV maintains close cooperation relations with the Communist Party of the Russian Federation (KPRF) as well as with all political parties of the Russian State Duma.
Vietnam has always been steadfast in the revolutionary path it chooses, even in the most difficult times, he stressed.
The country has also made appropriate adjustments to its Doi moi (renewal) process to complete the socialist-oriented market economy, thereby helping its economy develop stably despite the COVID-19 pandemic, he noted.
According to the Russian expert, Vietnam's position is increasingly improved, not only as a destination for international tourists but also as a venue for many important international events. Vietnam plays an important role in ASEAN’s development, he said.

Greetings from political parties in Latin America
Many political parties in Latin America have sent congratulatory letters to the CPV and Vietnamese people ahead of the 13th National Congress.
the Brazilian Communist Party (PCB) lauded the CPV’s efforts to prepare for the congress, especially in the context of the serious impacts brought by the COVID-19 pandemic and natural disasters.
The PCB showed its hope that during its 13th Congress, the CPV will outline national development orientations to gain greater achievements in the socialism building process. It also affirmed its commitment to boosting friendship and solidarity between the two Parties and peoples.
The Communist Party of Argentina (PCA) said in its greeting letter that the targets the CPV set forth for the 13th Congress demonstrate the Vietnamese Revolution’s success over the past decades of nation building and safeguarding.

The PCA emphasised that the achievements gained by Vietnam in the over 30-year renewal process would be a foundation for the country to work on development plans for the next five years, towards the celebration of the 100th founding anniversary of the CPV (2030) and the Democratic Republic of Vietnam (now Socialist Republic of Vietnam) (2045).
Meanwhile, the Solidarity Party of Argentina (PSOL) stressed the significance of the 13th Congress for Vietnam’s development in the coming years, amidst complicated and unpredictable developments in the international situation.
The Communist Party of Uruguay (PCU) lauded the sound leadership of the CPV during Vietnam’s past struggle for national liberation as well as the current national building and safeguarding cause.
It affirmed that under the leadership of the CPV, the Vietnamese people are the role model for the world in terms of organisation and discipline in the fight against the pandemic.
The party expressed its belief that the 13th Congress will be a premise for Vietnam to further promote economic development and improve its people’s living conditions./.
